Sharly Chess 4.0 released

For once, the main innovations in version 4.0 go beyond the arbitration software: Sharly Chess is now integrated with our own online registration platform.

Registration Platform Sharly-Chess.com

This new platform is the result of several months of development and is already being used successfully by a number of clubs.

Unlike general-purpose payment solutions, Sharly-Chess.com is built specifically for chess competitions.

Seamlessly integrated with the Sharly Chess arbitration software, it simplifies the work of organizers and arbiters, saving valuable time when preparing events.

Players also benefit from a growing set of online features, including live results tracking and pairing notifications.

The platform is now live — you can explore it here:

Version 4.0 of Sharly Chess also introduces several features requested by the community, including:

  • Smoother navigation with keyboard shortcuts;
  • Definition of round schedules, exported to Chess-Results.com and of course Sharly-Chess.com;
  • Improved automatic uploading of pairings and results;
  • Flatpak packaging for Linux: replacing AppImage with Flatpak improves compatibility with many more Linux distributions, which will delight arbiters who prefer using a free operating system.
