Plugins
Sharly Chess is designed to be extensible, allowing you to add functionality to suit your needs and remove the ones you don’t.
The core features of Sharly Chess are intended to allow you to run a FIDE style tournament, you can also add functionality to support specific federations, or to add additional features.
Installing plugins
Plugins are installed and uninstalled from the Plugins page of the Sharly Chess main application window (the window that opens when you launch Sharly Chess, not the browser). The page lists the available plugins with their type, federation, dependencies and documentation; a search field helps you find the one you need.
Each plugin can be enabled by default for new events; in any case, the installed plugins can then be activated or deactivated for each event, from the event’s configuration window.
Some plugins are specific to a federation, and can therefore only be activated for events of this federation.
